The GB/T 12236 Flanged Check Valve is an automatic non
return valve that prevents reverse flow in pipeline systems,
protecting pumps, compressors, and other upstream
equipment from backflow damage. Manufactured to GB/T
12236 standards, it is available in swing check and lift check
configurations to suit horizontal and vertical pipeline
installations across a pressure range from PN10 to PN320.

Swing Check vs Lift Check Design
The swing check valve features a hinged disc that opens under forward flow and closes by gravity and backpressure, offering low pressure drop and suitability for large diameter, low-velocity pipelines. The lift check valve uses a piston guided disc for faster response and tighter shutoff, recommended for high-pressure, high-velocity steam and liquid service applications.
Stellite-Hardened Seating Surfaces
Stellite overlay on disc and seat contact faces provides superior hardness (HRC 38–45) and resistance to wire drawing erosion caused by high-velocity fluid impingement. This ensures long-term sealing integrity and extended maintenance intervals in demanding steam, oil, and gas pipeline environments.
