About BAUTU: Valve Manufacturer and Exporter in Wenzhou, China
A family company: our founder Mr. Zhang started a castings foundry in Wenzhou in 1994, and we began making valves in 2003 with one ball valve line. In 2025 we moved into a new plant and set up BAUTU to run all export business, with an office in Budapest, Hungary.

Our story
Two Generations, From a Castings Foundry to a Valve Exporter
Mr. Zhang
BAUTU is part of a two-generation family business. Mr. Zhang opened a castings foundry in Wenzhou in 1994. In 2003 the second generation of the Zhang family turned it into a valve manufacturer and still runs the valve business today, growing it one production line at a time.

RAW CASTINGS · OUR FOUNDRYIt Started With Castings
Baotai began as a castings foundry in Wenzhou. Casting is still where every one of our valves begins: the bodies we ship today are investment cast in our own foundry, from wax pattern to finished casting.
OUR FOUNDRY · LISHUIThe Foundry Moves to Lishui
We moved the foundry to Lishui, Zhejiang, into the 8,000 m² site where it still pours our valve bodies today. The words over the gate: “The market is our direction. Quality is our life.”
OUR MOULDSThe Second Generation Starts Making Valves
The second generation of the Zhang family started the valve business with a single production line that made only ball valves. The mould shop opened the same year, so we have made our own moulds from the start.

NEW PLANT · LONGWANA New Plant, Every Line Under One Roof
We moved from the old plant into our new 50,000 m² site in Longwan. Each production line now has its own zone in one building, and the 4,000 m² parts plant moved in with them.

We set up BAUTU to serve overseas markets and run all of Baotai's export business. In the same year we opened a European office in Budapest, working with our international team in Wenzhou.

Questions About BAUTU
Is BAUTU a manufacturer or a trading company?
Both. Valve bodies are poured in our own 8,000 m² foundry in Lishui, Zhejiang, then machined, assembled and pressure-tested in our 50,000 m² plant in Longwan, Wenzhou. BAUTU holds its own export licence, so you buy direct from the factory, with no trading company in between.
What is the relationship between BAUTU, Baotai and BTQV?
Baotai Valve Technology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. is the parent company and owns the plant. BTQV is its brand in China. BAUTU, registered as Bautu Valve Manufacturing (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd., is its branch company with its own export licence and runs all of its export business.
How long have you been making valves?
Our founder, Mr. Zhang, started a castings foundry in Wenzhou in 1994. In 2003 the second generation of the family, led today by our CEO Feng Zhang, started making valves, beginning with ball valves. BAUTU was set up in 2025 to run export business.
Where is BAUTU located?
Our valve plant is in Longwan District, Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China, and our foundry is in Lishui, Zhejiang. Our European office is in Budapest, Hungary.
Which certificates does BAUTU hold?
Our ball valves are built to API 608 / ASME B16.34 and every valve is tested per API 598. Our quality management system is ISO 9001:2015 certified (certificate No. 20226Q01303R001, Zhejiang Quanpin Certification, CNAS accredited, valid to 29 Oct 2029; scope: metal valves up to PN 4.0 MPa). API 607 fire-safe certification is in application, and we will update this page when it is issued. Third-party inspection is welcome, arranged and paid by the buyer.
