About Bautu
Three Decades. One Mission
-To Make Valves Worth Trusting.
From a small foundry in Wenzhou, China, in 1994 to an integrated valve manufacturer serving Europe and Asia today.
— 01 ● Our Journey
Thirty Years. Five Milestones.
Behind every number is a team, a craft tradition, and a commitment.
China's industrial era was just beginning. BAUTU's first batch of molten iron fowed into a sand mold for a DN50 grey-iron
valve body.
From the very first valve, one rule was carved into BAUTU's DNA: "Every single piece must withstand inspection.'
As customers demanded tighter tolerances, we installed our first generation of precision CNC equipment. Our process moved from "experience-based" to "standards-based" manufacturing.
This was the decade when most competitors chose to outsource castings, machining, and inspection. It looked flexible — but it meant losing control. We took the opposite path.
We expanded on-site, growing the plant to 20,000 square meters. We brought the foundry, machining shop, heat-treatment furnaces, pressure test rigs, and metrology lab all under a single roof. From molten metal to material certificate, every step now happened under our own watch.
With our integrated foundation set, we attempted something harder: to double our output without bringing in a single outsourced step.
Today, BAUTU's facility covers 50,000 square meters, with daily output exceeding 3,000 units, supported by a workforce of 300+ engineers and technicians who watch over every valve from casting to crate.
But what we are most proud of isn't the larger footprint — it's that three times the capacity still operates under one roof.
Thirty years ago, we began in Wenzhou. Thirty years later, we have a foothold in Europe. But one thing has not changed — every BAUTU valve is still born in the same Wenzhou plant.
— 02 ● INTEGRATED MANUFACTURING
Why We Insist on Doing It All Ourselves
Most trading companies — and even some factories — outsource half of their valve manufacturing operations. It looks flexible on the surface. In truth, it costs you two things: quality sovereignty, and cost transparency. BAUTU has refused this path since 1994.

Integration delivers three things buyers can verify: full traceability (from molten metal to EN 10204 certificate, every step is recorded); cost transparency (no middlemen, no markups); and predictable lead times (no step is “waiting on an outsourced supplier”).
— 03 ● GLOBAL STANDARDS
We Respect Every Engineering Language
A valve is an international language — but every market has its own dialect. BAUTU manufactures to five international standards, serving engineers across regions.
ME / Oil & Gas
API 6D
EUROPE
DIN / EN
AMERICAS
ASME
JAPAN
JIS
CHINA
GB
We’ve learned to say the same thing in every language: You can trust us.
— 04 ● LOOKING FORWARD
What We See in the Next Decade
Looking back, BAUTU in 1994 could not have imagined the 50,000m² we operate today. But we can see the next decade clearly — three directions BAUTU is investing in:
Hydrogen-Ready
Hydrogen pipelines demand sealing and material endurance 10× greater than natural gas. We've begun material qualification for hydrogen-service valves
Low-Emission
API 624 / ISO 15848 are now hard thresholds for European and American projects. BAUTU is extending low-emission qualification across all product lines.
Smart Valves
Valves with remote monitoring, pressure feedback, and lifecycle alerts will form the foundation of next-generation industry.
— 05 ● GET IN TOUCH
Our Story Doesn't End Here
If you’ve read this far, BAUTU’s story has resonated with you. Here are a few next steps we’d welcome:
Want to see our workshop?
Our Wenzhou plant is always open to real customers — just 1 hour from Longwan Airport.
Want to meet our engineers?
More than email replies, we love an engineer-to-engineer conversation.
Just want to chat?
That's fine too. Our Budapest European branch is online whenever you are.
