BAUTU stainless steel knife gate valves give on/off isolation for water, slurry, pulp and wastewater lines. The CF8 cast body and SS304 gate are built to JB/T 8691, with GB/T 12221 face-to-face and a compact lug body drilled to JB/T 81. Choose EPDM seats for water and slurry up to +80 °C, PTFE seats for chemical media, or metal and carbide seats for abrasive service up to +300 °C.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a knife gate valve used for?
On/off isolation in lines carrying slurry, pulp, sludge, wastewater and powders. The sharp SS304 gate cuts through solids, and the full bore keeps pressure drop low. It is built for on/off service, not for throttling.
Which seat material should I choose?
EPDM is standard for water, wastewater and slurry up to +80 °C. PTFE suits chemical media (up to +100 °C). Metal and carbide seats suit abrasive or hot service up to +300 °C. Tell us the media and temperature and we confirm the rating in our quote.
What pressure rating do your knife gate valves have?
PN10 (1.0 MPa).
Which standards are they built to?
Design to JB/T 8691, face-to-face to GB/T 12221 and flange drilling to JB/T 81. If your flanges are drilled to another standard, send us the flange specification and we confirm the fit.
Which actuators are available?
Pneumatic cylinder (model PZ673X), electric actuator, or manual handwheel.
What is the lead time, and can I inspect the valves?
Standard knife gate valves ship in 15–20 days. We welcome third-party inspection (e.g. SGS or BV), arranged and paid for by the buyer; inspectors get full access to our plant and test bench.
