Frequently Asked Questions
Which voltages are available?
AC 110V, AC 220V, AC 380V and DC 24V. Tell us your supply and we fit the matching actuator.
On-off or modulating electric actuator?
An on-off actuator only opens and closes the valve. A modulating actuator positions the valve anywhere between open and closed according to a control signal, so it can regulate flow.
What sizes do the tri-clamp ends fit?
Sizes are given as tube outside diameter. The clamp ferrule diameter for each size is in the dimension table.
What happens if the power fails?
A standard electric actuator stays in its last position. If the valve must close on power failure, choose a pneumatic single-acting (spring-return) ball valve.
Do you supply explosion-proof versions?
Yes. Tell us the hazardous-area classification of your site and we fit an explosion-proof actuator and accessories.
What documents ship with the valve?
A product test report with the heat number of the body casting, materials and the pressure test results. We welcome third-party inspection (e.g. SGS or BV), arranged and paid for by the buyer.
What is the lead time?
Standard sizes ship in 15–20 days. Special actuators, voltages or accessories may take longer; we confirm the date with your quote.
Can I get a different body material?
Yes. CF8 and CF8M are our standard; the body material can be changed to suit your media. Tell us the media and temperature and we confirm the material with your quote.
