Valve Buyer FAQ: Quotes, Lead Time, Test Reports and Shipping
Short, direct answers to the questions overseas buyers send us before ordering from our plant in Wenzhou. For product data, see each product page.
Ordering & Terms
What do you need from me to send a quote?
Eight details: valve type, size (DN or NPS), pressure rating (PN, Class or JIS K), body material (WCB, CF8 or CF3M), end connection and flange standard, operation (lever, gear, pneumatic or electric), quantity and destination port. We reply within 24 hours.
What is the minimum order quantity?
No minimum. We quote single valves as well as project quantities, and you can mix sizes and models in one order.
What are your payment terms?
30% T/T deposit with the order, 70% T/T before shipment, or L/C. We invoice in USD, EUR or RMB.
What is your lead time?
15–20 days for standard sizes, which we keep in stock in Wenzhou. Special materials or options take longer; we confirm the delivery date with your quote.
Which Incoterms do you quote?
EXW Wenzhou, FOB Ningbo or Shanghai, and CIF to your port.
Can you put our brand on the valves?
Yes, from 100 pieces. We make OEM valves with your brand on the nameplate. WCB valves are painted in the colour you specify.
Quality & Documents
What documents ship with every order?
A product test report (EN 10204 3.1 type): heat number of the body casting, chemical composition, mechanical properties and the shell and seat test results. See a sample report (PDF) →
How is each valve tested?
Every valve is shell- and seat-tested before shipment in our own test room: per API 598 for API 608 and JIS valves, per GB/T 26480 for GB valves. Actual values are on the report.
Are you API or ISO certified?
ISO 9001 yes; API not yet. Our ball valves are built to API 608 and ASME B16.34. Our quality management system is ISO 9001:2015 certified (certificate No. 20226Q01303R001, valid to Oct 2029). API 607 fire-test certification is in application. We do not hold an API Monogram licence.
Can we inspect the valves before shipment?
Yes. Third-party inspection (for example SGS or BV) is welcome, arranged and paid for by the buyer. We can also show your valves on the test bench by live video.

Valve Selection
Do you make API 608 or API 6D ball valves?
API 608. Our flanged floating ball valves are built to API 608 in NPS ½″–8″, Class 150 and 300. We do not make API 6D pipeline valves. API 608 ball valve →
Soft seat or metal seat?
PTFE seats for −29 to +150 °C (RPTFE up to +180 °C) and clean media. Choose metal seats for hotter lines or media with particles that would cut a soft seat. Metal-seated ball valve →
WCB, CF8 or CF3M?
WCB carbon steel for water, oil and gas that do not corrode steel; CF8 (304) for general corrosive service; CF3M (316L) for chlorides and chemicals.
Low platform or high platform?

Which flange standards can you supply?
GB, JIS and ASME, depending on the series: GB PN16–PN40, JIS 10K / 20K (stainless), ASME B16.5 Class 150 / 300. Tell us your standard in the RFQ.
Shipping & After-Sales
How are the valves packed?
For sea freight: flange faces capped, each valve bagged, the order packed in plywood cases with the test report inside.
What warranty do you give?
12 months from shipment against manufacturing defects.
Can you supply spare parts later?
Yes, on request. Tell us the order number and the parts you need, and we quote them with the order or later.
