ASTM A216 WCB body for oil, gas and water in non-corrosive service.

01Casting
Bodies poured in our own foundry; size, rating and material cast into every body.
02CNC machining
Bodies, bonnets, balls and stems machined on our CNC lines.
03Drilling
Flange bolt holes drilled in-house and checked against the drawing.
04Assembly
Ball, seats, stem and packing fitted by hand; body bolts torqued.
05Material check
Body and trim checked with a handheld spectrometer to confirm the grade.
06API 598 test
Shell and seat test on every valve, not batch samples.
07Dimension check & QC tag
Face-to-face and flanges checked against ASME B16.10 / B16.5; QC tag on every valve.
08Export packing
Flange faces capped, valves crated for sea freight with the MTC inside.

Ball Valve FAQ
What is the difference between soft-seated and metal-seated ball valves?
Soft-seated valves use PTFE (to +150 °C) or RPTFE (to +180 °C) seats and give zero visible leakage per API 598 on clean media. Metal-seated valves with hardfaced ball and seats handle abrasive media and temperatures up to +420 °C.
Which body materials do you offer?
All series are available in WCB carbon steel (ASTM A216), CF8 stainless steel (304) and CF3M stainless steel (316L).
Are BAUTU ball valves API certified?
They are designed and built to API 608 and ASME B16.34, and every valve is pressure-tested per API 598. We do not hold an API Monogram licence. Our quality system is ISO 9001:2015 certified; API 607 fire-type testing is in application. Every order ships with a Product Test Report (heat number, chemistry, mechanical properties and API 598 test results). Third-party inspection (e.g. SGS or BV) is welcome, arranged by the buyer.
What sizes and pressure ratings do you make?
Class 150 / 300 to API 608, PN16–PN40 to GB/T 12237, 10K / 20K to JIS B2011, and 1000 WOG threaded valves from DN8.
What is your lead time?
Standard sizes ship in 15–20 days from stock. Special options may take longer; we confirm the date with your quote.
Can I inspect the valves before shipment?
Yes. We welcome third-party inspection (e.g. SGS or BV), arranged and paid for by the buyer, or we can show your valves on the test bench in a live video call.
